Where to get more Tincture of Queensfoil in Destiny 2
Learn how to get your hands on more Tincture of Queensfoil in the Dreaming City.
The Tincture of Queensfoil is a new item exclusive to the Dreaming City which allows players to see between the dimensions of the worlds. This item is essential to finding the Ascendant Chests, as well as completing the Ascendant Challenges for Petra Venj, so knowing how to get more Tincture of Queensfoil is essential.
Where to get more Tincture of Queensfoil
There are a few ways to get more Tincture of Queensfoil in Destiny 2, though the easiest is to actually buy more:
- Collected Ascendant chests
- Rewarded from Ascendant Challenges
- Purchase from Huginn for 50 Baryon Boughs
The first two options require players to already have a Tincture of Queensfoil, which should be the case after arriving at the Dreaming City and completing a few quests and bounties. However, the best way is to head to Huginn and purchase a few.
Huginn is a skull located in the Harbinger’s Seclude below the area called Rheasilvia. There are two ways to reach this area: above ground and past dozens of enemies or below ground using the portal network. I’ll be detailing the portal network, as it works out being faster and the path of least resistance.
How to reach Huginn to buy Tincture of Queensfoil
To find Huginn to purchase Tincture of Queensfoil, start at the fast travel point in Divalian Mists and go straight. You're looking for the crystal cave on the left that takes you to the Orrery and the Spine of Keres.

Take a left through the blue crystal cave and continue along the path to reach the Spine of Keres (this is from the first mission in the Dreaming City). Jump across the gaps to the large arena before the building (the observatory/orrery).

Go to the bridge and jump over the edge on the right. Follow the path down to the portal. Go through the portal and run through the hallways. Go around the crystal and then in the next large room with the stairs, go up the left stairs. This room is called The Confluence.

Continue down the hallway, past the creepy statue, and into the Harbinger’s Seclude (a sort of chapel). At the back left of the room is another portal, pass through it and take the left path.

Exit the caves to reach a large room with a lot of statues and two side rooms on either side. The room on the right has the Huginn skull which you can interact with to purchase the Tincture of Queensfoil. You must have at least 50 Baryon Boughs in your inventory or Huginn will ignore you. The skull will also ignore you if you're holding a full stack of the tinctures.
