Destiny 2: Forsaken introduces a few new Public Events for players to complete across the various patrol zones with the Ether Harvest being a rather hectic experience. Players looking to increase their rewards will want to take the time to activate the Ether Harvest Heroic Public Event, though it won’t be easy.

How to activate the Ether Harvest Heroic Public Event

The Ether Harvest Public Event is found in the Four-Horn Gulch of the Tangled Shore and requires players to defend a point from several waves of Scorn. Turning the Ether Harvest from a normal Public Event into its Heroic counterpart is no easy feat, especially for a solo player, so come prepared for a fight.

To activate the Ether Harvest Heroic Public Event, players must stop all the ether orbs from reaching the center area. These ether orbs spawn after taking down a Chieftain and move surprisingly quickly. Shooting them out of the air effectively requires either precise teamwork or some decent accuracy and speedy handwork for a solo player. A Titan barricade or a Warlock with Lunafaction boots will make the job easier, as these have the ability to automatically refill a weapon with ammo.

Simply stopping one wave of ether orbs isn’t enough to trigger the Heroic Public Event. Players will need to continue killing all the ether orbs until the Ether Harvest turns Heroic, at which point there is no need to keep track of the orbs flying through the air.

Make sure you know how to turn the Cryo-Pod Public Event Heroic as well, that way you receive maximum rewards! Swing by the Shacknews Destiny 2 Complete Strategy Guide for more walkthroughs and tips.
