The Jackbox Party Pack sure knows how to keep things hoppin', and fifth entry in the long-running selection of wacky party games is coming to Nintendo Switch this fall. The Jackbox Party Pack 5 brings five all-new games into the mix, heralding the return of the classic trivia game You Don't Know Jack and a buffet of other delectable treats.
Split the Room lets you create some "divisive hypothetical situations," while Mad Verse City (looking to be a personal favorite of mine) will let you enter a rap battle with robots. What's not to like there? It sounds amazing. The drawing game Patently Stupid asks players to create strange inventions to offer solutions to a selection of problems, and finally the "deadliest game show in the Crab Nebula" Zeeple Dome features players working to defeat aliens and earn a tidy sum of Zubabucks, whatever those are. They sound positive, and like you probably want them, anyway.
The pack is setting down on Switch this October, though there doesn't seem to be a concrete launch date just yet. When it does arrive, you'll be able to play with others without having to pony up for extra Switch Joy-Con controllers. That's the beauty of the Party Packs, as you can invite several friends to join simply via their tablets, phones, or computers.
Sound like it's all up your alley? Make sure you don't miss it when it's available later this fall. These are seriously some of the most fun you'll have on the Switch.
