The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced a partnership with the India-based firm Tech Mahindra for a multi-year agreement that will provide the team with various analytics, VR experiences, and AI analysis to help cut costs and make things better fo fans. It's all about helping the team move forward and utilize various forward-thinking strategies, and VR and AI should help them do that nicely.
The deal is the first of its kind between an Indian firm and an NFL team, and there are even plans in place for Tech Mahindra to work to support STEM education in the Jacksonville area along with this partnership. This community-driven focus is at the heart of the team's mission.
“I am a huge admirer of football, as embodied by the Jacksonville Jaguars,” said Tech Mahindra CEO C.P. Gurnani. “Our multiyear partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars will enable us to create many new opportunities in the U.S. I am excited and ready to chant DUUUVAL.”
The announcement didn't quite spell out what exactly the firm is going to bring to the table for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but this is obviously big news and an important step for the team.
“This strategic partnership with Tech Mahindra will fuel that pursuit with a data-driven and technologically advanced approach to a variety of challenges that face a growing NFL franchise. We’re excited to welcome them to the Jaguars family and eager to get to work," said Jaguars president Mark Lamping.
