Interstellar 3D shooter Everspace is touching down on the Nintendo Switch just in time for the holidays in the form of Everspace: Stellar Edition. The original game, its downloadable expansion Encounters, and a swath of goodies will be included as the game debuts on the console with both physical and digital releases.
The Switch port of the indie game will include an art book and soundtrack, and will bring its unique blend of space-themed roguelike gameplay, procedurally-generated levels, resource management, and equipment gathering to the handheld, where it should be a perfect fit.
Everspace originally made landfall on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, but now you'll be able to try it out on your commute, while waiting at the doctor's office, or just about anywhere. Early snapshots certainly make it look quite sumptuous. You can check it out in the Nintendo Indie Highlights Showcase below.
Everspace is Rockfish Games' debut title, thanks to a Kickstarter campaign that debuted in 2015. Previously, Everspace was made available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
