Capcom's open-world monster-hunting sensation Monster Hunter World is making its way to PC soon, opening up yet-another pool of players who will be eager to dive into the game and start taking out towering beasts. In addition to wondering about Monster Hunter World's PC performance, new and returning players will certainly be curious to know the elemental and ailment-based weaknesses for each of the game's 34 different monsters. All monster elemental weaknesses in Monster Hunter World
There are five different elemental attributes in play within Monster Hunter World: fire, water, thunder, ice, and dragon. Each of the game's 34 monsters are weak to at least two of these attributes, usually with one element making for a more exploitable weakness when compared to the others. By knowing each monster's various weaknesses, players will be in a much stronger position to take them down when the time comes.
Do note that the following weaknesses are presented in a three-point scale, with one point (■) corresponding to small weaknesses and three points (■ ■ ■) corresponding to much bigger weaknesses. Beyond that, each red X corresponds to a total immunity to that specific type of elemental damage.
