Ubisoft bounced back with the continued support of the team-based shooter Rainbow Six Siege through multiple seasons and there's more on the way. Revealed today. Operation Grim Sky introduces a couple new operators to the Siege experience and, for the first time, a previous map is getting reworked.
The first of the teased operators is a defender that comes from Great Britain, as shared in the news post on the official Siege website. Her abilities aren't detailed, but the description says she's "strong on handling mob behavior" and snatch-squad tactics. For those unfamiliar, snatch squad is a riot control and crowd control tactic, so it stands to reason this new defender has crowd-control behavior in gameplay.
The second operator is an American attacker with a "sharp mind." He's seen battle in Kabul and is "legendary for his surgical precision." He's also described as an enigma within Rainbow Six, so it's going to be interested to see what this new character brings to the table.
Lastly, the Hereford Base map is getting a facelift. No details yet, but the team is "renovating the place and making many adjustments to raise the bar for competitive play." Rainbow Six Siege is available on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 now in various editions. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional Grim Sky updates and a whole lot more.
