Octopath Traveler, the latest RPG from Square Enix, is fashioned in the classic JRPG form where players can spend hours decking out their party's equipment, skills, and individual jobs. As such, Octopath Traveler includes eight core jobs and four advanced jobs that players can equip to their heroes to access to new abilities and specific attribute bonuses. How to get to those jobs is its own process, however, one that includes tracking down various shrines scattered about the continent of Orsterra.
Unlocking Jobs in Octopath Travel by Finding Shrines
Each of the secondary jobs in Octopath Traveler is unlocked by finding its related shrine, and twelve total shrines are spread all over the in-game map. While the core eight jobs can be unlocked simply by locating the shrine, the advanced four jobs will require players to conquer tough late-game boss battles.
