What Is The Warframe Nintendo Switch Release Date?
Following a recent TennoCon 2018 announcement, many players are left wondering when Warframe will release for the Nintendo Switch.
One of the most popular free-to-play action games on the current market is Warframe, the third-persion co-op shooter from Digital Extremes available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game has been kicking around since late 2013, and the developers haven't slowed down with their goal of making it one of the hottest titles around — and they've been succeeding. Not only has the game managed to draw in increasing amounts of user attention both in gameplay and on streaming service Twitch, it also spawned the anuual TennoCon convention starting in 2016. Now, to push excellent into awesome, Digital Extremes has just announced a partnership with Panic Button to bring Warframe to Nintendo's latest hybrid console, leaving many eager players wondering just when Warframe will release for the Nintendo Switch.
When Does Warframe Release for Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, as it stands now, there is no set release date for Warframe on the Nintendo Switch. The developers have only just recently announced that the game would be coming to the Switch, so it may actually be some time before players have any clear indication of when they'll be able to grab the game and take it on the go.
Update: Warframe will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2018.
Fortunately, the rest of the news is good otherwise. Not only does the Nintendo Switch version of Warframe already have its own trailer, the crew have noted the involvement of Panic Button, the same team that brought Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus to Nintendo Switch. Both of those titles were lauded for their impressive results, as paring down a modern PC-oriented shooter to the Switch is no small task. Fortunately, Panic Button seems like just the team to get the job done properly.
