Creative music performances are a staple on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and having The Roots, one of the greatest bands in existence, on staff opens up the door for some fun stuff. With Ariana Grande handling singing duties, Fallon and The Roots performed "No Tears Left To Cry" using only Nintendo Switch powered Labo creations.
The Nintendo Labo platform is one focused on creativity and DIY construction. It uses cardboard objects powered by the Nintendo Switch and its Joy-con controllers to do a handful of different things.
This is a pretty brilliant marketing move on the part of Nintendo. The popular Tonight Show paired with one of the biggest pop stars out will draw millions of eyes, eyes that will benefit the Labo in a big way as kids and parents become more aware of it.
