Yes, an actual First Post instead of werd today. Steve is off doing god knows what, but it's 3pm here so it's not like I had to wake up early. What have I been up to? Well, I'm glad you asked (heh). Been actually checking out some games this week, more so than usual. Looks like after the slow year all the good games are finally coming (gee, close to the holidays, I wonder if there's a relation). Didn't get to check out No One Lives Forever yet unfortunately, which I just have to after all the positive reviews so far. The tech demo left me unimpressed, but apparently it didn't give you a good feel of the game. I hope for Monolith's sake they release a real demo because I'm sure many others were rather unimpressed with the slowness of the tech demo (didn't get any decent frame rates on my Athlon 700 at least). Guess I'll have to wait until later this month for the European release (yeah Steve gets all the free stuff, I have to buy everything ;) ). I did get to check out Rune but I was a bit disappointed with that. Great graphics but pretty boring gameplay. Looking forward to Shiny's Sacrifice, although that won't be out until late this month. On the Dreamcast I've been playing Metropolis Street Racer and SF Rush 2049. Everyone who owns a Dreamcast owes it to themselves to at least rent MSR, it's definitely one of the best racing games I've played in ages. I believe the US release date is next week.
