Destiny 2 Warmind Expansion Introduces New Legendary Rifle Redrix's Claymore
The devs expressed that this will be one of the toughest guns to earn in Destiny 2.
The livestream revealing details for Destiny 2's Warmind expansion went down today and we came away with a good bit of info. You can check out our Destiny 2 Warmind expansion roundup, but you're probably here for the shiny new weapon news. There will be plenty new weapons when the expansion arrives on May 8, 2018, but Redrix's Claymore is the belle-of-the-ball.
The development team has revealed the crown jewel of the new additions to Destiny 2's arsenal is Redrix's Claymore. The team says that it will be one of the hardest weapons to earn in Destiny 2, but didn't dig into exactly what players will have to do to find it.
Chatty user abunch actually pointed out that the criteria for earning Redrix's Claymore is reaching Fabled rank. To do that, you must win matches in the Competitive Crucible playlist.
That's part of the fun, right? Once you earn it, you'll be able to test it out on the new Crucible maps that come exclusively to the Warmind expansion or take on the brand new Destiny 2 horde mode called Escalation Protocol. We'll update with additional information as its made available.
