Hope County is a massive area, and as you would expect, there are a lot of things to find. As you progress through Far Cry 5, you might come across the Dodd Residence and their locked shed, but before you go running off thinking the key is found later, it’s actually right nearby.

Where to Find Dodd Residence Key

It can be easy to miss certain items as you’re runnin’ and gunnin’ through Far Cry 5, and it can be a bit frustrating to slow down in search of one pesky little key. The Dodd residence might be one of these situations. You’ll come across the area as part of the Golden Age Nostalgia quest as you’re searching for all 12 comic books. They key for the locked shed around the house can be found close by.

Look for a refrigerator in the yard full of junk and whip out your bat – if your natural instinct hasn’t taken over at this point, let me help: beat the refrigerator with your bat like it’s a dumb cultist. After a few swings, the refrigerator will break, revealing the Dodd Residence Key you need in order to access the shed.

With the shed open, you’re free to take whatever you found inside. We found a medkit, throwing knives, a grenade, and a bit of cash. It’s not a lot, but it could be just what you need if you’re running low on supplies. If you’re looking for better rewards for unlocking secret areas, take some time to find all prepper stashes in the game, as they contain a stockpile of goodies.

Now get back in your helicopter (if an NPC hasn’t stolen it) and kick more Eden’s Gate out of Hope County. If you need help with other aspects of the game, check out our Far Cry 5 Collectible Guide.
