First is the big "surprise" that AOL 6 sucks! It's crashing peoples' machines, killing their email - all sorts of wholesome goodness. I remember the stuff about AOL 5 taking over your computer, I guess they thought that wasn't enough and decided to go ahead and destroy data as well.

The other "surprise" being that Microsoft's IE 6 will be taking over even MORE of your system. Windows Media Player will be hard wired into the browser through an "explorer bar." If you're using IE 5, hit Search. See that bar? That's the explorer bar. The other, even more evil, bit of integration is MSN Messenger integration into the browser through a similar mechanism. Please break this company up already. They seem to be going balls-out with integration now. I guess they figure that they'll either get broken up or they won't, so they may as well put all of their cards on the table.
