World of Warcraft Opens Up Pre-Orders for 'Battle for Azeroth' Expansion
Pre-orders are now open for the next World of Warcraft expansion and Digital Deluxe Edition goodies include items for a few other Blizzard games.
Recall in November that the BlizzCon Opening Ceremony closed with the reveal of the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The first trailer looked something like this:
Blizzard is now actively marching towards the latest expansion's arrival, opening up pre-orders for both the standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. Picking up the expansion will offer an immediate level boost to 110, but going the extra mile and getting the Digital Deluxe Edition will also unlock the Seabraid Stallion mount for the Alliance and the Gilded Ravasaur mount for the Horde. Players will also get a Baby Tortollan pet, as well as goodies for other Blizzard games. These include:
- Overwatch: Horde and Alliance-themed lines for Torbjorn, new emotes for Tracer, new sprays, and player icons.
- Hearthstone: The Azeroth is Burning card back.
- StarCraft II: Horde and Alliance sprays.
- Heroes of the Storm: A Primal Flamesaber mount with three different color variations.
Battle for Azeroth is set to hit this summer, with the terms of the unlockables indicating that it will arrive no later than September 21. For more on the new Allied Races feature, check out the video below.
