Learn the best way to complete the Pleasure Gardens in the Destiny 2 Leviathan raid.
This week’s Leviathan raid Challenge mode is the Pleasure Gardens, the misty and convoluted nest where Emperor Calus’ war beasts roam free. Destiny 2 players will need to bring their communication skills if they want to complete the Pleasure Gardens Challenge, but don’t get too excited, because it’s ridiculously easy.
Pleasure Gardens Challenge, Leviathan Raid
Before you dive into the Pleasure Garden Challenge, it’s a good idea to have a basic understanding of how the encounter works, so take a moment to look over our Destiny 2 Leviathan raid guide for a rundown of everything you need to know.
To complete the Pleasure Gardens Challenge, a player holding the Prism cannot shoot more than one flower per damage phase. What this means is that if you’re holding a Prism and shoot the flower near Trees, you cannot then go and shoot any other flower until the next Empowering Spore collection phase begins.
This means you must do one of two things in order to complete the Pleasure Gardens Challenge. The first option is to only use a stack of x24 to damage the dogs. What this boils down to is the person holding the Prism on the left and the person holding the Prism on the right would shoot a single flower each and then everyone would damage the dogs and prepare for the next phase.
The second option is that, after the two Prism holders shoot their single flower, you swap roles mid-Empowering Spore collection phase. What this would look like is this: Prism holders would shoot their flowers and everyone would meet back in the safe room. At this point, you would theoretically have a stack of x24 Empowering Spores. Two Spore holders would then drop their spores and pick up the Prisms, and the two Prism holders would drop their Prisms and pick up the Spores. Though this method is more finicky, it allows a team to amass a x72 stack of Empowering Spore, providing no one shoots more than two flowers.
Out of these two options, the easiest is to simply attack the dogs with a x24 stack and repeat the process as many times as needed. Some teams will find it easy enough to kill all the dogs in one phase, while others might need multiple phases to finish off the War Beasts.
After you complete the Pleasure Gardens Challenge, you will be rewarded with the Good Dog emblem, extra Calus tokens, and a guaranteed raid drop, either a piece of armor or a weapon. If you’re looking for more answers to your Destiny 2 questions, check out our Destiny 2 Complete Strategy Guide.
