Find out what Xur is selling for November 3, 2017, Week 9.

While Xur has made quite a few appearances for those who enjoy Destiny 2 on PS4 or Xbox One, he’s only arriving for the second week if you’re a PC player. PC players are still likely to be missing quite a few of his Exotic items, and owning all Exotic items is essential if you plan to stick with Destiny 2 for the long haul. Here’s what the Agent of the Nine is selling and where he’s hanging out, in case you’re a Guardian in need.

Where is Xur?

Bungie sucked half the fun out of Xur when they made his location on the map known. YouTube content creators and games writers like myself weep at this. Still, some folks are likely checking for Xur’s location prior to logging into the game, so I might as well tell you where he is. The Agent of the Nine is on Earth. Spawn in at the Winding Cove and set a waypoint for his location. He's high up on some rocks next to a crashed ship.

What is Xur Selling?

As per usual, Xur is selling a single weapon and three armor pieces. Each armor piece is for one of the three classes; Hunter, Warlock and Titan. Each piece costs a specific number of Legendary Shards. The weapon will cost 29 Legendary Shards, while each armor piece will go for 23 Legendary Shards. It will cost you 98 Legendary Shards to buy all four Exotic items that he’s selling.

Below is what Xur is selling this week:

  • Exotic Pulse Rifle - Graviton Lance
  • Exotic Titan Helmet - Mask of the Quiet One
  • Exotic Hunter Gauntlets - Young Ahamkara's Spine
  • Exotic Warlock Helmet - Nezarec's Sin

What Should You Buy?

You should buy anything that you don’t own. Players into Destiny 2 for the next few months or years will want multiple characters, so buying these Exotic items is about setting yourself up for the future. Plus, Bungie likes to tinker with the effectiveness of Exotic gear quite often, so what sucks today might be great tomorrow. Best you own it all and not have to worry about it. If you can’t afford it all, start with the weapon and armor for your primary class.
