Spelunky 2 Will Explore Again on PlayStation 4 [Update: And PC!]

There are still more caves out there! (Update: On both PS4 and PC!)

Update: Creator Derek Yu has added that Spelunky 2 will also be exploring the cavernous world of PC with a Steam version of the game also coming soon.

Original story: One would imagine all the caves have been discovered, but that is most definitely not the case. Developer Mossmouth is coming back with another round of cave-exploring and danger, coming to Paris Games Week to reveal Spelunky 2.

This time around, the series fast-forwards many years. It looks like Spelunky Guy went on to settle down and start a family. And with the original explorer hanging his hat, it looks like his daughter will be carrying on her father's exploratory legacy. 

Not much further information was given. There isn't even a release date. But look for Spelunky 2 to begin its adventure on PlayStation 4 at some point in the future.
