Rowan 'Sumaleth' Crawford sent word that the contest run by Anna Kang a long time ago to make something creative  based on the Quake3 characters/world. Rowan decided to write a story for the game. Here is his work entitled The Arena. Rowan won himself a custom chess set featuring characters from Doom and Quake. (Where's the pics of it?)
