It would seem the ESA has sent out email stating that even E3 2022's previously possible digital showcase has been canceled this year.

The ESA announced that this year's E3 games showcase will once again forgo a physical event amid new and prominent COVID-19 concerns.

E3 2021 confirmed the participation of a number of further large publishers and developers taking part in its upcoming all-digital event.

15,000 members of the public will make the show even more hectic and chaotic that it was previously.

The number is up 5% from 2015, according to the Entertainment Software Association annual report.

Early-bird passes cost $149, while general admission will run attendees $249.
