I got no hits on this yesterday, so I am trying again today to bring this wonderful gift to you all.

    Do you like indie gaming?
    Do you like exploration?
    Do you like space travel?
    Do you appreciate game design?
Do you like having very little instruction and being left to your own devices?

If yes to all, download Outer Wilds.

It's a free game made by some USC film school grad students, and it is one of the most interesting games I've played all year. You start on an alien planet, as an alien explorer in an alien space program. You walk around your little village, learning about the space program and how to fly a rocket ship. You visit an observatory where you see lots of artifacts brought back by other explorers that came before you. You look into your telescope and see lots of heavenly bodies orbiting around. You obtain some launch codes, and then you enter the rocket ship and take off into space. Here's the cool thing - there are no load times from planet to planet, ground to space, and all those planets you saw through your telescope? You can go to all of them. You can land on the moon and roast marshmallows with another alien. The game uses Newtonian physics, so you can lock into an orbit and need to break velocity, etc etc. The sun supernovas in 20 minutes, so you have to start over again and discover new things.

I can't really say much more without spoiling anything, but this is really a wondrous idea for a game. The lead dev wrote a thesis paper on it. There are some mild spoilers, so I would suggest maybe not reading it until you check the game out.

    Neck/Shoulders/Upper Back
    https://myhealth.alberta.ca/Health/aftercareinformation/pages/conditions.aspx?hwid=ad1500

On this page, I'm a big fan of "Neck stretch" and "Diagonal neck stretch" (done @ about 45ish degrees from center).

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuM-QIW2T5Q

This stretch hits your scalenes (front of your neck) and those can get super tight from desk work / phone viewing.

    https://www.saintlukeskc.org/health-library/doorway-pectoral-stretch-flexibility

Doorway stretch is great as well.

For upper body, hit each of those - prioritizing duration of stretch over intensity. You want to give the muscle time to stop freaking out from being pulled and relax into the extended position. Forty seconds is a good target. Do all of those bilaterally (where relevant) 40s each once a day.

    Lower Body
PSOAS stretch! You'll note this looks a lot like a yoga pose, I forget the name though.

I like the "Seated figure 4 stretch - piriformis" one here.

Same principle. Hit bilaterally, 40s holds, preferring duration over intensity. You don't want to pull something or hurt yourself, you just want to start gradually giving the muscle some more room over time.

    Kerbal Space Program MODS 101

Alright, I told Ozzie that I would do a writeup of KSP mods.

I thought a lot about it, and I decided that I would like to explain the major different types of mods that exist, as I see it.

Every single one of these categories could have twice, thrice, sometimes even ten times as many entries and still be all high quality mods. I had to make a call of how many I included so I just picked my top favorites in each category.

In-reply, because it's very long! I didn't provide links to the threads of each mod because it is getting fucking late and I am tired. But if you google the name of any one of these mods, the official forum thread for the mod will always be the top result!
