I'm the guy from ResumetoInterviews. I wanted to pop in and explain the price increase since I have seen quite a few people purchase the service based on threads created here.
I have raised the price recently for business reasons as I have upgraded the website, started an affiliate program, PPC campaigns, and other paid marketing and advertising campaigns that have increased my costs. However, most of my previous customers have come from the SA Forums so I have offered them a huge discount so they are not affected by the price increase. If you hop on over to the SA Forums thread you can find the discount code.
Alternatively, you can use the discount code "shacknews" for $110 off the order total.

29 tagsSo Cyberpunk 2077 is going to bring synth-wave back again, for the 3rd or 4th time.
Post some favorite examples from past iterations.
Here’s one of my favorites that’s 15 years old now (holy shit, came out in 2003): https://youtu.be/6gERo7vCGO4 -

MEGA MODDING POST
Last week I decided to reinstall Fallout 3 and actually try to finish it. I last played it on the 360, so being on the PC this time around I was interested in mods, so I dug in to the Nexus site and started learning.
I ended up following a lot of this guys advice from his Fallout 3 mods playlist. Goes by the name of Gopher and he's the author of aHud, iHud, Unified HUD project, The Imaginator, Dynavision, Cinamatech, and the Director's Chair. He does kind of pimp them during the HUD and visuals videos, but it's easy to forgive since they're actually excellent mods.

He can be a little long winded, but because of these videos I've run into very few problems, even running a ton of mods. Probably the biggest pain was the fact that some mods don't come packaged correctly for the Nexus Mod Manager, so I had to unzip them and reorganize them to get them to work. It's easy though and Gopher actually goes through the process a couple times in the videos.
So, what mods do I have installed? Here they are (including external programs).......

29 tagsPeople who fear CryptoLocker - someone made a really handy utility that everyone should probably have on their computer:
http://www.foolishit.com/vb6-projects/cryptoprevent/
CryptoPrevent adds Group Policy rules to your computer (even if you have a home operating system that doesn't have a Group Policy editor) that does the following:
Executables are blocked in these paths where * is a wildcard:
%appdata% and any first-level subdirectories in %appdata% (e.g. %appdata%\directory1, %appdata%\directory2, etc.)
%localappdata% (on Vista+) and any first-level subdirectories in there.
%temp%\rar* directories
%temp%\7z* directories
%temp%\wz* directories
%temp%\*.zip directories
The new version also has a whitelist option, allowing you to whitelist items the program finds are already running from those places, and prevents new programs from executing. By viewing the whitelist you can block programs already there that perhaps you don't want. -
