A number of our good friends drop by for a turn on the mic including Geoff Keighley, Billy Berghammer, Patrick Klepek, and Christian Spicer. Garnett and Jeff anchor the show, with Brian still recovering from his bout with a bug. We also brought Shacknews' own Xav de Matos in for the fun. There's no shortage of video game topics to talk about either. Epic Mickey gets defended in the opening Whatcha' Been Playin? before attention turns to the flurry of games revealed at the VGAs.   It was incredible. Seeing these guys' passion first hand just brought a smile to my face. Christian Spicer rocked the comedic mic, Garnett, Jeff, Geoff, Xav, Patrick, and Billy all were insightful and on top of their podcasting game.
  
  Really a special night for me. Respect all these guys a lot. Smodcastle podcast needs to be a yearly thing, really cool there.

    It was a really fun night. Great atmosphere and awesome people. Man, everyone that was there, from the people that took a turn on the mic, to the people hanging out and watching...lots of awesome. Great meeting everyone. Now time to see how it holds up as a recording....I always wonder how laughs sound on a recording vs at the live show where they all felt pretty dang strong :)

        Ha. For sure. Custom made. You and me, the only two in the world. But really, I should probably share the photoshop file with the world, right? See how much better people out in the world can make it. There could be a whole underground scene of custom and one-off Weekend Confirmed shirts....ha.

  It was a lot of fun. Christian was funny as hell. DJ Empty was killing it, and it was cool to see Garnett and everyone do their thing! They are all down to earth.

  It was entertaining, I was confused at first because I thought it was going to be a podcast with Kevin Smith, but then it was people talking about video games. I appreciate the fact I got to go though.
