Gears of War 3 Early Beta Access Offered in Bulletstorm 'Epic Edition'
Priced at the regular $59.99 but only available "while supplies last," the Epic Edition packs several bonuses for multiplayer modes--an extra 25,000 experience points plus "visual upgrades" for your Leash, Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armour. And early access to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta, of course.
As of October, the Gears of War 3 beta was scheduled for early 2011. Bulletstorm will launch on February 22, 2011 for PC and PlayStation 3 in addition to Xbox 360, developed by Painkiller creator People Can Fly with Gears 3 dev Epic Games.

That's because console players are "special" people. You have to keep rewarding them to make them happy.

Cry me a river. The incentives go where the money is. You still get your dedicated servers and mouse support.

It was a joke, I don't even like Gears of War. Also getting dedicated servers, mouse support, and the ability to change graphics is NOT an extra for PC. Game makers are starting to make it seem like an extra feature but those "features" have always been there.

They're considered "extra" after having been taken away. Even when they're not community-run servers, "Look! We have Dedicated Servers!"

PC players are so easy to please! We're so easy to please we get special digital rights on our games just to make sure we actually pay for them! That makes us extra happy!
