Fallout: New Vegas Xbox 360-Exclusive DLC 'Dead Money' Announced

Having previously declared that the first Fallout: New Vegas downloadable content will be released exclusively on Xbox 360, publisher Bethesda today revealed that pack to be 'Dead Money,' due out on December 21 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

"As the victim of a raw deal you must work alongside three other captured wastelanders to recover the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino," Bethesda explains. "In Dead Money, your life hangs in the balance as you face new terrain, foes, and choices. It is up to you how you play your cards in the quest to survive."

Shacknews has contacted Bethesda to learn if Dead Money might be merely a 'timed exclusive,' hitting other platforms later, but has yet to hear back at the time of publishing. Fallout 3's assorted DLC was initially console-exclusive to Xbox 360 but also hit PC too. The packs didn't start arriving on PS3 until September 2009, eight months after the first PC and Xbox 360 DLC release, though they had once been scheduled for June.

Obsidian Softworks' post-apocalyptic RPG was released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 19, shipping--not necessarily selling--five million copies.

What are you talking about? The bugs are the single greatest enemy *in* New Vegas. Mr. House is nothing compared to the Great Unpatched, the secretive faction with an undying hatred for Couriers.

The Great Unpatched has a sneak skill of 100, and can creep up on you at anytime. Anywhere. Without warning. The perfect villain.

No, his Sneak IS only 100. He makes up for it with a 200 point stealth field
