Hybrid is built upon Valve's Source Engine and, going by the teaser site, seems to take place in a dystopian future where two factions are at war, the Paladin and Variant.

There are no concrete gameplay details for the time being, though the following teaser trailer shows a Variant walking on walls so we can perhaps expect high-tech trickery.
