Fallout 3 DLC Now Available Through Steam

8

The five DLC packs for Fallout 3, previously only available a la carte through Games for Windows LIVE on the PC, are now available on Steam for $9.99 a pop.

The Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, which includes all five add-on packs, has been available since October 2009, but now gamers that purchased the original release on Steam can get in on the DLC love. It is also available on Direct2Drive, if that's more your flavor.

If you're wondering where to start, Broken Steel is a must-have as it takes the story beyond the ending of Fallout 3 and raises the level cap. Point Lookout is widely considered to be one of the best DLC add-ons and I had a good time with The Pitt. Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta aren't as great, but have some good items to grab.

The steam GOTY has all 5 DLC, is there one I'm missing?

Yeah, if you already have the game you could buy the GOTY and give the vanilla disc to your friend.

It was 25 dollars recently on Steam, I'm sure it will be again.

It should be 10 for the lot. Or maybe I'm just spoiled because I bought a boxed GOTY last December for £15.

hang on a few weeks, it will be on sale sometime. Only the early STEAM adopters will purchase at this price. $19 for all of um would be a nice purchase... but $10 each, no way.
