Shack. As much as I appreciate the hard work you put into maintaining your site I find it incredibly aggravating when you do things that just piss off your userbase. Such as:
1) Why not just link direct to the 720p version of the Portal 2 video on Youtube instead of watching the low quality embedded video on your site.
2) ...having failed that you then encourage registered users to watch the 'HD Stream' (Remember you must first register!)
3) ...after forcing your users to sit through a completely irrelevant advert about toothpaste ...
4) ...you make the registered user watch a low definition HD stream. Seriously, your HD stream is about as HD as Youtube's 480p. Which is, needless to say, NOT HD.
Annoying!-

I wish that when you click on the 'read more' link, it would also put the comments at the bottom of the full article. That way you don't have to click once to read the article, and then one more time just to bring up the comments.
While we're asking for favours, I would also like the mp3 download link for the podcast to be listed early enough in the article that I can click it directly from the front page, and not have to 'read more' first.
thanks.
PS - I love the shack. My favorite web site.-
Been wanting that feature for a long time. I get why they are separate (different systems), but it would be nice to be able to scroll back up and reference the full article if necessary.
As for the video thing; yeah, I get why they re-encode everything, but not keeping the original size or bitrate is so y2k. There's been lots of comments about the codec. You'd hope with new owners would come a few upgrades.
