Valve announced today that Portal 2 will be released on PlayStation 3 in addition to PC and Xbox 360, confirming that its E3 surprise genuinely was "PORTAL-2-THEMED-FOR-GOD'S SAKE." The PS3 edition will pack Steamworks, it turns out.
Portal 2 was recently delayed from a planned 2010 holiday season release to 2011.

That's disappointing that Valve's E3 surprise was Portal 2 coming to the PS3 :(

I bought TBO for 360 so my wife, a more casual gamer, could play since she doesn't like FPS games on PC (she finds the mouse too twitchy). We both played through Portal with a controller, and it worked more than fine. I didn't find quick reflexes to be necessary in Portal. It's not a typical action-oriented FPS; it's a puzzle game, one that gives you plenty of time to formulate plans and execute them. Playing through HL2 and the Episodes was trickier, but I just jacked up the sensitivity of the sticks and didn't have much trouble.
