Enjoyed the demo, nice they added spells to the game and weapon selection.

I will be picking this game up on release to check it out.

Any one know the deal will the spells, spell progression, lvling up progression and weapon and upgrades?

Hard to tell in the demo but they all seem to be in there which is a massive step for the sequel and genera.

I had the opposite feeling. I felt they took a step forward in a genre that has always been 3 miles behind. Killing wasn't satisfying. My girlfriend who isn't much of a gamer blatantly said it looked boring. She then guessed it was Japanese by how far behind it seemed gameplay wise. I see reviews panning this. I hope people never buy another dynasty warrior. These people need to get their heads out of their asses.

Or the game may rock. So I hope it's nothing like the demo.

I honestly thought the demo was fun. It didn't seem tedious like the dynasty warriors series. It felt like they refined the combo system more along the lines of games like DMC and God of War making the combat more satisfying.
