Napoleon: Total War Getting New Expansion on Steam

7
SEGA has announced an expansion for its strategy and warfare game Napoleon: Total War -- The Peninsular Campaign -- which will be released this summer exclusively through Steam on the PC.

The expansion will sport "a brand new campaign map featuring 32 controllable regions divided amongst 4 different factions." Spain will also be a playable faction for the first time.

New agents will also be added to the game: "the priest for Spain and Portugal, the provocateur for Britain and France, and one unique agent for the Spanish faction - the Guerrillero, as well as a host of new multiplayer features."

The original game was released on February 25, 2010 and is available digitally and at retail for $39.99.

Everyone interested in TW style games should check out King Arthur on steam (though I think other online places have it too), I really enjoyed it. It has a demo out too.
It's made by some crazy indie Russians or something so you know it's good. And it's actually quite polished!

Just posting this because I am the only person on the planet who seems to know about it and it is a damn shame.

TBH this game started out horrendously unbalanced and I played it back when it was released. The devs are active on the Steam boards and have released 4+ patches that have addressed some of the game breaking balance issues.

Its worth a play, perhaps wait for a steam deal?
