Infinity Ward co-founders Vince Zampella and Jason West are currently suing parent company and publisher for brand rights and royalties after they were sacked; Activision dismissed their claims as "meritless." The firings coincided with an announcement by Activision that the franchise is gaining another developer and entering new genres.
