The Xbox 360 version of Ubisoft Montreal's Splinter Cell: Conviction has gone gold--meaning it's off to manufacturing--so to celebrate, the company has passed along some new media of the stealth-action sequel.

The theme behind today's new trailer and batch of screenshots is "visual signature." I'll let the folks from Ubisoft take it from here from here--as usual, the trailer cuts between talking heads and in-game footage--but do keep in mind that Splinter Cell: Conviction hits Xbox 360 the week of April 13 with the PC version now due circa April 27, 2010.

So will it have their DRM (Dat Raging Misery?) on board of the Steam version? I wanted to get it, but I kind want to not give Ubisoft any money, if has that DRM or not, until they get it off of their products.

Yeah they wont get my money until its gone. Ubisoft hasn't even addressed the damn near 100 page thread on their forums about this aside from moderators with their scripted responses. Fucking assholes just don't get it.

They'll just release some warez group's crack later on to fix their drm issue.

I don't want to "fix" my steam things though. And I don't want to give them money before they drop this.

I understand, believe me they are not getting one fucking dime from me until the DRM is gone
