Xbox LIVE Arcade Block Party Coming in March, Bringing Game Room, Scrap Metal and More
N+ co-developer Slick Entertainment's combat racer Scrap Metal (1200 Microsoft Points / $15), Toy Soldiers (1200 MSP / $15) and Perfect Dark (800 MSP / $10) are due in March--Toy Soldiers will hit March 3, with everything else following later in the month.
Coming to Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Live, Game Room is a virtual space which allows players to create their own retro video arcade by buying vintage machines including Centipede and Asteroids Deluxe for 240 to 400 Microsoft Points ($3-$5) each.

Great, really excited about a virtual arcade room. Not, not really at all, sounds like they are trying to make something like PSN Home and it's just all so retarded. If people want this, they are already playing Second Life. Since I'm not playing second life, why would I want to wander a pointless virtual world...?
Just give us the games. They are overpricing the arcade games because you get a "virtual arcade cabinet" to put in you imaginary arcade. Dumb.-

Look, I think it's cool bringing back old arcade games. I miss arcades, REAL arcades, not that bullshit in the movie theater with DDR and time crisis. So offering old arcade games on Live is a cool idea, but I'm annoyed that the price is double so that they can emulate the most retarded thing sony has ever done; Home.
It is optional, I probably won't use it, probably just pirate the games if I really care or do without. But I'm going to express dissappointment that the price is being jacked up so MS can be a douchebag.
