Why? "Our goal is to celebrate and highlight Major League Baseball 2K10's superior pitching and hitting mechanics this season, while also giving one of our loyal fans the thrilling opportunity to be rewarded with a lot of money," explained VP Jason Argent.
Once the contest begins, players can compete by firing up the "MLB Today" game mode, selecting any of the available team matchups, and choosing, "...the option to participate in the 'Major League Baseball 2K10 contest' that will automatically default to the proper gameplay settings according to the official gameplay rules." Player entries must also be recorded with a camera or digital video recorder, and submitted on a DVD. More information will soon be available on the MLB 2K10 official contest page.
Only PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are eligible for the competition, and participants will also need to be connected to the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE, respectively. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old to compete, and unfortunately, residents of AZ, CT, MD, ND, and VT aren't eligible to participate.
