Oh sure, you've got mutants and the like, but thus far, it looks like the real danger comes not from some overgrown five-armed blob named Joe, but fellow humans. Go figure.

Then again, Metro 2033 doesn't hit PC and Xbox 360 for a bit yet, so, uh, maybe there's still a chance that everyone will learn to play nicely before its "early 2010" arrival?

I think this is a really cool premise and I cannot wait to play it. That being said, I hope it has a bit more polish than STALKER.

Too bad I have a feeling a lot of people will be turned off from the premise comparing it to Fallout 3 and calling it Fallout told from the russian perspective.

I don't know if piggy backing on Fallout hype is a bad thing for them. Fallout was really well received. This is an FPS mostly, right, not an RPG?

If THQ does their job I think this can stand on its own and capitalize a little from Fallout.

Russian Fallout sounds good to me.

Totally. I'm loving the stuff coming out of the east-europe developers for the last few years. Yes, they tend to be buggy, but they have absolutely nailed soul-crushing atmosphere.
