Alan Wake Getting More Episodes via DLC
"Imagine the TV show Lost as written by Stephen King and filmed by David Lynch, and you have Alan Wake," Microsoft executive Robbie Bach said of the game during a presentation at this year's CES. "Story-driven like a TV series, Alan Wake will be told in episodes, with even more episodes available on Xbox Live after its launch this year."
The first major release from Max Payne veterans Remedy Entertainment in nearly a decade, Alan Wake was also due on PC, but that version is now uncertain.

the reason they announce DLC now is Marketing fuckups think that by telling people DLC will be out at some point then people who buy the game when it eventually comes out won't trade it back in as a used game.
So they do it because they think its going to reduce the amount of used game sales and icnrease the new game sales.
Of course it really just pisses off the hardcore players, who then tell their casual friends who trust them that the game is "gay"-
Or they could just be trying to express that the game will be supported and that people who buy it and like it will have more down the line.
The only time I think it's fucked up to announce DLC is when it could just be included with the game. IW annouced a paid DLC map pack for MW2 before the game was out, that is fucked up. Episodic content? Thats actually a good thing usually.
