Combined, the two SKUs rival chart topper Uncharted 2.
The first expansion, The Zombie Island of Dr. Zed, is slated to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a paid download on November 24, with at least one more expansion on the way. The expansion will also make its way to PC, though when has yet to be announced.
In addition, Gearbox revealed that the first patch for the PC edition of Borderlands, is due this evening and is already in the hands of various digital distribution outlets, though it offered no details as to exactly what the v1.01 update will do, contain or fix.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Borderlands outsold Uncharted 2. Thanks to Shai-Tan for pointing out the error.

So why is no one publishing PC numbers of DD and Retail? I am gettting a bit frustrated by this as the "death of the PC" when for most games they are superior (even MW2 looks just stunning at 1080p/4xAA etc) may drive many people and developers away.
For example teh whole "crysis was failure" we commonly hear is so not true. Over 1.2 million sold. Not MW2 but clearly for a new IP pretyy damn good.
So if Crysis 2 does 1.2 on the PC, 3 on the consoles combined no one will list the 1.2
