Weekly PC Sales: Dragon Age, Borderlands and Torchlight Top the Charts

Last week was a big one for PC RPGs, as BioWare's long-awaited Dragon Age: Origins dominated the sales charts of digital distribution outlets Steam and Direct2Drive, joined by Gearbox's shooter-RPG Borderlands and Runic's Diablo-esque Torchlight.

Also of note is the fact that the Steam charts include three titles not sold by Direct2Drive: Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Shattered Horizon.

    I wish I bought Dragon Age digital deluxe now... cheaper to get that than to buy the DLC separately. Stupid launch day DLC.

      Not really. The Stone Prisoner comes free with all copies. The $15 cost on it is a deterrent resellers. The only free DLC you get with the DD edition is Warden's Keep, which is a $7 purchase. So unless you really like the Sountrack and want some desktop wallpaper, probably better off getting the standard edition.

          Oh, I agree. I had heard numerous selections from the score beforehand, and it was one of the major selling points for me. Some people couldn't care less though.
