R.U.S.E. Trailer Demonstrates Multitouch Controls
With Windows 7 now on shelves, publisher Ubisoft has announced that Eugen's WW2 real-time strategy R.U.S.E. will support the operating system's 'multitouch' capabilities, allowing players to control the game entirely through a compatible display on PC.
R.U.S.E. will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the first quarter of 2010, with special 'ruse' perks including the ability to reveal enemies' orders and create decoy units.
A new gussied-up trailer shows multitouch on PC monitors, though we can't help but pine for the dreamy futuristic gaming table seen in R.U.S.E.'s announcement trailer.

RTS games are really gonna benefit from multi-touch. it's such a great input device for exactly this sort of genre.
creepy looking dood really creeps me out.-
I'm not really sure. Zooming in and out is cool and all, but a RTS game is hardly entirely about that.

The player's possible APM would be seriously hindered by having to use screen-only input, even a multitouch one.
