Halo 3: ODST Sells 2.5 Million in Two Weeks
As reported by USA Today, overall sales amount to $125 million in revenue so far. "That's pretty good for a game that most called an 'expansion pack,'" said Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter.
The original Halo 3 did $170 million in sales on its first day of business, eventually topping $300 million in its first week. But Halo 3 was produced over a span of several years; by comparison, production on ODST only lasted a brief 14 months, representing a much smaller investment.

LMAO, thats right puppet, jump on that band wagon. Who needs a mind of their own, then you might actually be right about things when you talk! Blasphemy! Zerog83, I agree, its best to just blend in with the crowd of idiots and demonize things before knowing anything about them. Can you imagine the people that think we should think for ourselves and be sure of the things we say before we say them? MADNESS!

I've played Halo 3 with a friend splitscreen, at its launch, since he's a Halo nut and the two other games as well just to know what people were raving all this time about, but while I'm hugely biased since I normally can't stand console FPSes at all, I'll say that at least saying that those games don't seem very similar to each other is...well...a big, fat lie.
Because they are, the gameplay between the three is very interchangeable, I don't see the appeal of its style at all TBQH, but whether you do find it entertaining or not, at least you must acknowledge that they all play pretty much the same.-

I guess, but when did I ever defend Halo 3? It's a steaming pile of dogshit.
The only thing I'm defending is being intelligent and objective. Looking at something outside of your own personal bias and forming an opinion based on fact. Being smart enough to know that if I don't like something, I'm probably not the most knowledgable person about it. I could be, if I chose to be, but if you don't like Halo, why would you play it enough to have a real idea of what it and it's sequels are like. MMM, you probably wouldn't be able to tell....

Yeah, the gameplay is so interchangeable.
I used to take my xbox over to a friends where 4 tvs were setup and we would have 8x8 matches through system link on 4 boxes for Halo 1. I would still do that, but most of those guys moved on to Halo 2 and now 3. About 4 of us stopped playing halo because they gameplay changes ruined the game. Now all I have to do is pop in Halo 3 and play online, which you couldn't do with Halo 1, but I don't even own Halo 3 because it sucks. Halo 2 SUCKS. Halo 1 is AWESOME.
And TBQH, if you think you can admit that you are hugely BIASED but still say you are right.... I mean, do I even have to call out how stupid that is? YOU said that you are biased, so right there we know that you couldn't possibly even try to see the differences in the games. YOU CANT EVEN TRY IF YOU ARE BIASED. Hey guys, I'm totally biased against mustangs, but I'm so right when I say that they all handle like shit. Because I would know an objective, unbiased truth about them because I am so incredibly biased against them.
DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT BIASED MEANS?!

Agreed. "Look guys, something about halo, lets go shit on it because it says 'Halo'".
The funny thing is, I really liked Halo 1, didn't like Halo 2, they fixed some things in Halo 3 but messed up other stuff so bad that I hate it, and I really like what I've played of ODST. I laugh at every dumbass that has a generic flame about Halo never changing, they change a lot of shit each time. Halo 3 ODST is more like Halo 1 than it's like Halo 3. Hell, no shields, which it you remember, Halo was one of the games that really started the regenerating health trend.
So bitching about it being the same is actually the same as telling everyone that you are a fucking tool that just jumps on bandwagons. Jump puppet, jump! -

I'm proud to be one of the 2.5 million idiots encouraging this generic rehash, graphically poor, story light, wanna be FPS on a console. And yes Firefight is very fun, especially on the vehicle maps. Me and a friend owned a map for seemingly ever in a Warthog until those damn nade happy grunts finally pasted us. Need some new ones though.
