Mass Effect 2 Screenshots: Your Pal Grunt

Alongside yesterday's new trailer, BioWare and Electronic Arts are further celebrating Mass Effect 2's GamesCom presence with new screenshots. This batch is meant to provide a look at Grunt, your new Krogan companion. He's said to be rather violent.

Described as

"the dark second chapter" of a planned trilogy, Mass Effect 2 and its sci-fi take on action-RPGs will arrive on PC and Xbox 360 at some point in early 2010.

interesting. sounds like they are going the L4D2 route, introducing a whole new cast/crew?

ashley or liara MUST return though.................. to have some "extra missions" ....................

  The devs have said you'll encounter your old party members, and some of them will be able to join your party again.... but yeah, there are a bunch of new ones too.
