Modern Warfare 2 Getting Two Map Packs 'At Least,' Depends on Community Feedback

13
Following a statement from publisher Activision that seemed to indicate Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would only receive two downlodable map packs post-release, developer Infinity Ward has clarified that it plans to "heavily" support the game.

"The fact that we confirmed at least two map packs doesn't mean there won't be more; honestly we plan on shaping our DLC based on community feedback from the full game, and first two DLC map packs," Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling told MTV Multiplayer. "The community will really determine what comes after that."

More details regarding the map packs--right now, all we know for sure is that the first two Xbox 360 before any other platform--are likely to remain under wraps until after the anticipated shooter hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 10.

All the map packs for both Modern Warfare and World at War were eventually released on PC, for free.

Odds of that happening again seem low considering their hostile price position on the PC.

            doesn't mean it's 50€ - 70,70 in every country.

German prices on Steam suck balls.

My point was that they can sell it at full price. AFAIK, full price for a PC game is $50 in the US and 50€ in Europe.
