I'd say that the real story here is that Infamous got in the top ten

It could be for a number of reasons:
1. Sony was heavily marketing Infamous because it was an exclusive.
2. Infamous overall received higher review scores than Prototype, which might have influenced PS3 owners who were only going to buy one.
3. And owners of both systems might have bought Prototype for the 360 because of its superior and more entrenched achievements system. (Don't laugh - I have several friends who always buy cross-platform games on 360 for just this reason.)
