ESRB Reveals 'Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge' for Xbox 360, PS3
The game, "Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge," is vaguely described as "a real-time strategy game (RTS) in which players control different factions vying for global supremacy in the wake of global war and occupation." The Commander's Challenge was a new mode in the PC-exclusive, downloadable Red Alert 3 "Uprising" expansion. The mode saw players fighting through 50 unique, nonlinear missions, unlocking technology after knocking off each AI opponent.
This new console title could potentially be a console release of Uprising, or a possible downloadable release of the Commander's Challenge mode. Since the ESRB isn't being much help, we've contacted EA for more information.

I'm still waiting for the Halo / Goldeneye of console RTS.
Halo Wars was nice but wasn't it. While playing that I actually thought it would have been even more fun on pc.
The (demo) controls of C&C3 were horrible, I don't think this will be different.-

very clever response. Of course I do not want Starcraft on consoles (I played it on N64 so I am sure I do not want it)
I am waiting for an RTS game designed to work well with consoles, a fun game. It doesn't have to be simple to work on consoles, that's pure ignorance. The tough part is the controls have to be half way intuitive and not clunky but so far all they do is try to map mouse / keyboard to controllers. of course that doesn't work well.

I'd heard that the controls for Kane's Wrath were quite good (for a console rts).
"Other than the fact that the camera doesn't zoom out quite enough for my taste, I found the overall controls in Kane's Wrath to be among the best to be found in a console RTS"
