New Army of Two: The 40th Day Screenshots

Following up on the lone screenshot that accompanied the unveiling of Army of Two: The 40th Day, Electronic Arts has provided a few more screenshots of EA Montreal's apocalyptic sequel, showing off more of the fist-bumping co-op shooter. I got a look at the game early last week. Major additions? The "co-op playbook," essentially a visual radar that allows you to scan enemies and easily determine which co-op "moves" will be the most efficient to use in neutralizing them.

Stay tuned for more impressions later on--Army of Two: The 40th Day hits this winter on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP.

I was hoping this would sell badly enough for them not to make a sequel

  I picked it up on sale at Wal-Mart last weekend for like $15 on the PS3. It's not too bad. I don't know if I would pay full price for it, but I think for a co-op game it would be a blast. That said, I'll reserve judgment for a sequel for a while.

      50Cent: Blood ON the sand. It was good for a laugh or two at first, but it was complete garbage.

  Co-op with a buddy was pretty fun. It was Kane & Lynch that ended up being almost total crap.

  I paid $30 for it over the summer during the gaming drought and thought it was decent enough. Controls were tight and the cover system was quality. The story/dialog was crap but when I'm playing a coop shooter I really don't care about that.
