Heath Blom, 26, only wanted a $1,000 RC airplane from his grandparents for Christmas. Denied his toy plane, he instead received a Wii console from his girlfriend Randi Young.

Clearly familiar with the Wii's underwhelming 2008 software lineup, Young "disparaged the Wii, angering his girlfriend," according to WCVB. The verbal argument soon turned to blows.

"She punched me in the eye," said Blom. "She punched me three times. I said 'That's it.' And I pulled her hair."

"He dragged me down two flights of stairs, by the hair," added Young. "This was the worst Christmas ever."

When asked for comment, Shigeru Miyamoto explained that Wii Music is "more interesting than a videogame."
