how is Left4Dead $43 average? That means you'd have to be able to find it somewhere for $30, since console is $60 and pc is $50.

Why would the PC sales chart include console prices in the average?

ah, overlooked that. Still $30 is a fantastic deal for this game.

I think i paid $45 for in, and in retrospect that's a little much for a game that only offers 4 levels and 3 weapons. Even though I played some 30+ hours of it, I feel like there should have been at least one more level and another weapon (how about a 357 Magnum?)

not meaning to be a dick but, were we playing the same game?

        L4D has 20 levels (well, 20 maps, 4 scenarios with 5 maps a piece)
and it also has 9 weapons which are :

        pistol
        dual pistols
        pump shotgun
        uzi
        M-16
        Hunting Rifle
        Auto-Shotgun
        Molotov
        Pipe Bomb

Do you honestly judge a game by how many 'weapons' it has? Did Mario Galaxy slip past you because he didn't have any 'weapons'?

I paid $50 for this $30 game (Steam purchase). It's awesome and I get a lot of play out of Versus, but it's really a $30 game content-wise. It's slightly disappointing we're still waiting for them to release the SDK and the other two campaigns (Death Toll and Dear Air) for Versus mode though.
At least we can mostly play them via the Custom shackserver someone is kind enough to host. The hardest part is generally getting them started since they're not in the Vote options. I think it requires an admin because a simple callvote changecampaign (or whatever it is) -mapname- in the console doesn't work.
So when there's someone present who knows how to do it, it works. The rest of the time the server is just another regular server rotating the overplayed No Mercy and Blood Harvest maps.
I'm glad it's selling so well, as it is a very fun if simplistic game. Just about perfect for when you have a free hour or so to run through a Versus campaign.
