X-Men Origins: Wolverine Platforms Unveiled
PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP editions will debut alongside the movie of the same name in May.
The game is being handled by Marvel: Ultimate Alliance veteran Raven Software and Amaze Entertainment. Activision did not specify which deveoper is handling which version, though Amaze's history suggests it will be responsible for the DS release.

PS2? WTF?
Great, now the entire game will be bottlenecked by that outdated system, yet they will still charge an extra $20 for the 'next-gen' versions whose only difference will be 'prettier visuals.'
When, oh when, will publishers stop forcing devs to ruin games by making them for every freakin system under the sun?
Bah, I need some coffee...-

Separate devs or not, they still have to go by the lowest common denominator when designing the game so each platform isn't completely different. Most publishers want all console versions of the same game to be pretty much identical. However, I would love it if the PS2 version was totally different from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
