Shack PSA: Valve Complete Pack Will Complete You

17
Attention all videogame fans that deserve to have their Videogame Fan Card revoked: Valve is currently running a great deal on its entire back catalog of PC titles with the Valve Complete Pack.

For a mere $99, one can score every Half-Life game and Counter-Strike iteration, as well as Day of Defeat, Team Fortress 2, Portal, and the upcoming Left 4 Dead. If that's not enough, they also throw in Peggle Extreme.

With Left 4 Dead selling for $45 currently, you're basically getting all of Valve's previous releases for $55, or $15 less than the price of High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance.

Valve is running the deal on Steam, so head over to the big gray internet store to pick up the bundle. Thanks to Demius for the heads up.

This is pretty awesome, unfortunately (or fortunately I guess) I already have pretty much all of valves back catalog on steam :-)

still, if you think of the amount of "gaming" you'd get from the package its staggering.. can you imagine EA doing something like this? no because your head would explode..

Not only do you get all their great games but you get all the mods for all the games...
The mods alone arguably have more worth then EA's back catalog :-P

Anyway one more reason valve gets it..

After putting in my old Half-life CD key, I was suprised to receive pretty much the whole backlog of games prior to HL2. After getting the Orange box, I don't think there's that much left and L4D is already pre-ordered. Love these discounted Steam weekends though.

Why do you have to bring EA into this, who honestly cares? Why not bring Blizzard and Ubisoft and anyone else into this....the whole EA hate around here is getting old.

Because they have no reason to hate Blizzard?

Yea but this is a post about Valve...why bring EA into it at all....No matter what the page is about, someone has to hate on EA. A game pack for EA doesn't even make sense, there would be what....900 games?
Every sport has what....30 games for it at least from EA.
And EA makes/publishes a crap ton of games, a package by them would have to be like $5000 and it would still be less than $10 a game, it makes no sense from them to do that, who the hell would buy it.

Blizzard has what...10 games in their 3 ranchises it's not that crazy that they would release a game pack with all their games in it.
